Report from Spruce Knob, WV (darkest spot east of the Mississippi): AHSP 2007

Even with a "modular packing style" Observing & Tips you can still fit a lot of gear in a car if you are determined and efficient.  Here I have Frankenscope, a 10" LX200, a dual scope solar rig, an Astroscan with observing table, 20 x 80 binos with tripod, three folding chairs or stools, 2 marine batteries, food, camping equipment, whiteboard and teaching aids, and enough astronomy teaching materials for 100 Boy Scouts!
